The Chamber is honored and pleased to welcome two new volunteers ~ Rossie Stobbs and Doris Nelson-Carlson. Many of you already know Rossie, former City Clerk, who recently retired from the City of DHS. Rossie was also the Executive Director of the Chamber before moving on to the City many moons ago. What a full circle she has made and we are delighted to have her back at the Chamber. I met Doris through Audi Kay at the DHS Women’s Club Fashion Show and she immediately expressed an interest to volunteer at the Chamber. Welcome ladies and know that we all appreciate your time and dedication to the Chamber. Our seasonal volunteer, Judy Cameron has just returned to her homeland in Canada. Judy has been our exceptional snowbird volunteer for over 4 years and we thank her for her continued loyalty and dedication and wish her a restful and relaxing summer in cool weather while we swelter in the heat!

The Chamber thanks Sterling Williams and Jerry Miller of the Dillon RoadHouse for hosting the March Business Networking Mixer. It was refreshing to see how well their business is doing ~ the restaurant was packed for dinner! Gracias to Audi Kay who helped at the check-in table and welcomed Chamber members and guests. A very special recognition goes to Mark Paul who stepped right up to the plate and announced the door prizes with his strong voice. Thanks Mark and congratulations to all the happy winners and door prize donors: MSWD, DHS Spa, Miracle Springs Resort, PhotoColorgraphix, Quality Inn & Suites and Zapopan Mexican Food! Hope to see many of you at Hidden Springs Country Club’s Mixer next month.
